Specialist sub-consultant to Arup developing possible applications for their patented GFRP Modular Bridge for a multi-site footbridge tender in Bristol. Multiple, modular spans between 40-100m were assessed using below-deck and above-deck structural system typologies. The spatial opportunities and visual characteristics of each iteration were assessed against construction and lifecycle costs, construction sequencing and other viability considerations.
